Product Delivery Practice

The Product Delivery practice covers how CDS plans, manages, and delivers work for clients — from product strategy and roadmapping through to agile delivery, stakeholder management, and project leadership.

What This Practice Covers

Product Delivery spans a broad range of disciplines: product management, delivery management, business analysis, agile coaching, and project leadership. Like all CDS practices, it is deliberately broad — its role is to share knowledge and raise standards across these disciplines, not to draw rigid boundaries between them.

The practice is concerned with how we work with clients to define what to build, how we organise and run delivery teams, and how we ensure that the work we deliver genuinely meets client and user needs.

Standards and Ways of Working

The Product Delivery practice maintains the approaches and standards that shape how CDS teams organise and run delivery across all client engagements. Key standards documented in the handbook:

  • Delivery Approach — our end-to-end approach to delivering projects for clients
  • Agile Practices — how we apply agile methodologies in practice, not just in theory

Development Pathways

The Product Delivery practice supports consultants in building capability across product, delivery, and business analysis disciplines — including guidance on relevant certifications, methodologies, and progression at each seniority level.

Development pathway details are maintained by the Product Delivery Practice Lead and will be published here.
